Only books in very good condition will be accepted.
No water damage, cigarette smoke smell or ripped covers/pages of books
will be accepted. Hard cover books must have their dust jacket.
Generally books are credited at $1.00 each.
Store credit can be used to purchase used books in the
store up to half the cost of your purchase (up to the value of your
credit), i.e. book purchase is $12.00, and you
pay $6.00 in store credit, $6.00 in cash. This is necessary to create
cash flow for store operation!
Credit can only be used to purchase fiction books
(since 90% of the books brought in for credit are fiction). Credits cannot be used to purchase new, remaindered ,
pre-1960, antiquarian ,signed books, audio books, special orders or
books marked with “NC”.
Bargain books will have a red line on them and may not
be brought back for store credit
